Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Property flooding is expected. River levels are high but dropping slowly on the River Windrush following heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Therefore, flooding of property and roads is expected to continue overnight 26/11/24. Areas most at risk are properties located on Bridge Street, Riverside Gardens, Woodford Mill, Millers Mews, West End and West End Industrial Estate.
The forecast is for rain overnight (26/11/2024) into tomorrow. River levels are expected to continue dropping steadily through today. Levels remain sensitive to further rainfall and may rise again in response to the forecast rainfall. We are monitoring the situation. Our staff are liaising with councils and emergency services. Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers and air brick covers. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 27/11/24, or earlier as the situation changes.
