Property flooding is possible.
River levels are high but steady on the River Windrush. Flooding of property is not expected to become more extensive. Further rain is forecast this evening and overnight, 06/02/2021. Tomorrow morning should then be mainly dry. River levels are expected to rise this evening and overnight in response to forecasted rain, although we do not expect levels to reach what we have seen last weekend. River levels will remain high and responsive to further rainfall over the coming days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are in the area clearing trash screens. Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings, activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers, and refer to the 'River and Sea levels in England' webpage for current river levels.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 07/02/2021, or as the situation changes.
