Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are forecast to rise at the Frisby river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains.
Areas most at risk are Thrussington, and parts of Ratcliffe on Wreake, including East Goscote, Rearsby and Brooksby.
Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. We expect river levels to begin rising early hours of Monday morning on 17/02/20.
We are closely monitoring the situation.Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water and see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast.
This message will be updated in 8 hours, or as the situation changes.
