Flooding expected. Take action now.
The severe flood warning is no longer in force, this has been lowered to a flood warning
River levels remain high at the Mordiford river gauge. Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days which may cause a small rise in the river level. A large amount of water remains on the flood plain. Flooding is affecting properties and roads in and around Hampton Bishop.
Levels at the Bredwardine, Belmont Old Wye Bridge, Mordiford & Ross on Wye river gauges are predicted to rise from this Saturday afternoon, 22/2/2020.
Predicted peaks:- Bredwardine 3.8 to 4.2m Saturday pm, Belmont 4.0 to 4.5m & Old Wye Bridge 3.5 to 4.0m Saturday pm. Mordiford 4.3 to 4.7m Sunday am & Ross on Wye 4.0 to 4.4m Sunday pm
Please remain vigilant.
