Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high at the Mordiford river gauge. Further rainfall is forecast over the next few days which may cause a rise in the river level. A large amount of water remains on the flood plain. Flooding is affecting properties and roads in and around Hampton Bishop.
Levels at the Bredwardine, Belmont Old Wye Bridge, Mordiford and Ross on Wye river gauges are predicted to rise from this Sunday morning, 23/2/2020.
Predicted peaks:- Bredwardine 4.6 to 5.0m this evening, Belmont 4.9m to 5.3m overnight am, Old Wye Bridge 4.6 to 5.1m overnight & Mordiford 4.8 to 5.1m Monday overnight & Ross on Wye 4.2 to 4.6m Tuesday.
Please remain vigilant.
