Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Mordiford and Ross-On-Wye river gauges as a result of heavy rainfall. We expect flooding to affect areas in and around Hereford and Ross on Wye including Wilton area.
Predicted peaks:- Mordiford 4.8m to 5.2m on Monday Evening 06/01/25, Ross on Wye 4.0m to 4.5m on Tuesday Morning 07/01/25.
We expect river levels to remain high for the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and Local Authorities.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
