Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are falling at the Old Wye Bridge river gauge. Flooding of roads and farmland is expected to continue today 07/01/25 and over the next few days. We expect flooding to affect roads in North Hereford including Greyfriars area and the B4399 Holme Lacy Road in Hereford.
Old Wye Bridge peaked at 4.92m this morning 07/01/25.
No significant rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and or Local Authorities.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
