River levels are expected to remain high throughout the afternoon on 01/01/2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wyre, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the area adjacent to the North bank of the River Wyre at Kirkland Bridge covering properties on The Avenue and the A6.
We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties.
