Flood warning

This message has been issued because flooding of homes and businesses is likely today, Sunday 22nd October 2023. River levels are expected to continue to rise. Areas most at risk are Cringleford, Old Lakenham and Trowse Newton, including the railway line. The forecast is for drier conditions for the rest of the Sunday, which will allow river levels to start to return to normal later on Sunday. Flood water is dangerous. Don't put yourself or others at risk. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message on Monday 23rd October 2023 or as the situation changes.
