Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are falling but remain high and flooding is possible overnight Tuesday 27 January. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Yeo, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected. Areas most at risk include Mudford Bridge, Parsonage Farm area and properties on Main Street. We are expecting less rain for the remainder of Tuesday and into Wednesday however blustery showers are forecast which may be heavy at times. We are closely monitoring the situation. Act on your flood plan if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 28 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
