Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this afternoon.
Flooding is expected from 2:00 PM on 15/07/2025.
Areas most at risk include Rivers in Ambleside, Rydal Road, Stoney Lane, Kirkfield, Fair View Road, Rothay Park, Riverside, Fisher Beck, The Borrans, Lake Road.
Weather conditions are expected to improve this evening.
We are closely monitoring the situation and checking rivers for blockages.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one and
avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
