Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 
Flooding is expected from the early hours of 23 February 2026 . 
Areas most at risk are West Street, Station Road and Main Street. Glenfield and Anstey are also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Rothley Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one & move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. 
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 23 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
