Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning. 
Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 . 
Areas most at risk are West Street, Farmstead Close, Station Road, Main Street, Leicester Road and Cropston Road. Glenfield and Anstey are also at risk. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours.

River levels at Glenfield Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions . 
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 28 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
