There is no risk of flooding. This Flood Warning was issued as a consequence of a river level sensor fault. An alternative sensor is in place providing correct river levels.
Please note, the gauge information on the Gov.uk website has been displaying incorrect information as of 12:00 21/02/2026. The current river level at Rothley is 0.39m and is below the flood risk threshold.
