Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rising river levels during this afternoon and overnight may lead to flooding from 9:00 PM this evening until 8:00 AM tomorrow 27/01/2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Somerset Frome, River Mells, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Feltham Lane at Frome, the A362 at Wallbridge, the access road to Peradins at Freshford and the Westwood to Freshford road. Bankfull conditions are forecast at Farleigh Hungerford.
We are closely monitoring the situation and clearing debris from weed screens.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
