The risk of flooding from the sea has now reduced and no property flood is expected, however, flood alerts remain in force for this area. Strong winds and large waves are forecast this evening, Friday 21st August which, combined with spring tides, may lead to wave overtopping and sea spray in low lying and exposed locations. High numbers of visitors in these locations that may flood brings an increased risk. People are advised to avoid low lying and exposed coastal areas.
