Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible over the high tide on the morning of Saturday 7th February.
Areas particularly at risk include low lying coastal communities including Swanpool, St.Mawes, East Portholland, Mevagissey, Polmear, Par, and Polkerris. The high tide at Falmouth on Saturday morning is at 08:42, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.42mAOD . Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.4 and 0.5 metres above tide table level. Force 5 Southerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 3m are forecast over the high tide. Coastal conditions should ease for Saturday evening's high tide.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 3:00PM on 07 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
