High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday morning.
Flooding is expected over the morning high tides on Tuesday 9th December.
Spray and wave overtopping of quaysides, harbours and low lying areas is expected to flood properties. Areas at risk include Kingsand, Cawsand and Plymouth Hoe. High tide at Plymouth on Tuesday morning is at 08:36, times of high water will vary along the coast. The forecast total high tide level is 2.81mAOD, this is 0.6m above tide table level. Strong force 8 southerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 4.5m are forecast.
