Water levels in the Stanbridge Stream are now reducing. This morning, some of the heavier showers which looked like they were going to affect Petersfield, moved slightly to the east. As a result, the river has had several hours without rain, which has allowed it to recover slightly. The lack of additional rainfall also meant that water levels did not reach bank full as we thought they might. The odd shower could affect the area later this evening, through to early Monday morning (12/11/2018) but rainfall totals are less likely to cause issues. The rest of this week remains fairly dry. We continue to monitor levels and will keep the debris screen at Borough Grove clear, to ensure the river flows freely.
