Flooding expected. Take action now.
High tides are expected to cause flooding over the morning tide on Thursday 5 February.
Areas particularly at risk include low lying areas in Falmouth, Penryn, Flushing, Mylor Bridge, the A39 at Perranarworthal, Devoran, Calenick, Truro and the A390 at Tresillian.
The high tide at Falmouth on Thursday morning is at 07:36, times of high water will vary along the coast.
Forecast total high tide level is 2.95mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.5 and 0.7 metres above tide table level. Force 4 southerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 2m are forecast over the high tide.
Coastal conditions should ease for Thursday evening's high tide.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
