Tide locking, where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.

We expect to see high water levels at Beccles Quay. River levels will remain high over the next couple of days due to tide locking, which is where tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to the sea.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Avoid using low lying footpaths which may be flooded.
