River levels are receding but remain high following recent heavy rainfall. Further showers are forecast today, Monday 28/10/24 but are not expected to have any impacts on river levels in the area.
Areas most at risk include the Allotment Gardens, Lund Terrace, Morecambe Road, North Lonsdale Terrace, Kingsway, Dale Street and William Street.
We are closely monitoring the situation and continuing to clear debris from weed screens.
