High tides today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 03:30PM to 07:00PM on 03/02/2026.
Impacts are currently only forecast to affect areas at the mouth of the Tyne. We expect to issue a Flood Warning for North Shields Western Promenade this afternoon.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded and beware of large waves.
