Flood warning

This is an update to the Flood Warning. High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. 
 
Flooding is expected on 19 December 2025 . 
 
Areas most at risk include Casterbridge Trading Estate, London Road, Mill Street, London Close, Durnover Court and Kings Road in Dorchester. River levels have continued to rise due to recent rainfall and have reached 1.08 metres, river levels are beginning to plateau, but may remain high for several hours.
 
We are closely monitoring river levels and rainfall levels.
 
Act on your flood plan now, if you have one. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .
