Flooding expected. Take action now.
This is a Flood Warning Update. River levels remain high due to recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding is still possible. Locations most at risk include low lying properties on Mill Lane. Further showers are forecast throughout the weekend with heavier rain expected from Monday. We are closely monitoring the situation. Activate any flood protection products you may have. Please take care and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 1 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
