Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected from 3:00 AM on 27/01/2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wylye, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Longbridge Deverills, Henfords Marsh, Boreham, Water Lane and Norton Bavant.
Further rainfall is forecast tomorrow but no further flooding is expected.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and closely monitoring the situation.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Activate any property flood protection products you may have.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties.
Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals.
Don't put yourself or others at risk.
