River levels have risen on the Waren Burn due to persistent rainfall and snowmelt.
Flooding is expected at Properties and low lying areas in and around Waren Mill, Budle Bay Caravan Park and Spindlestone Mill from 02:30 AM on 05/12/2023.
Further rainfall is forecast overnight into Tuesday morning, therefore river levels will be elevated until tomorrow afternoon.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
