Areas most at risk include properties situated behind East Beach, including Pier Terrace, Waterside, The Bay House, The Old Watch House, Bridport Arms Hotel, Seagulls, Swains Row, The Old Timber Yard, Station Road, Station Way and George Street. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at West Bay harbour of 2.44 mAODN at 9:00AM, which is 0.49m above tide tables, with South Easterly force 8 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.) total wave height is expected to be above 5.5m which may cause some overtopping at the East beach.

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
