Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from16:30 to 20:30 on 05 December 2025 and 05:00 to 09:00 06 December 2025.
Areas most at risk include West Bay Harbour and the tidal stretch of the River Brit. The first forecast high water of 2.47 mAODN is at 18:30 05/12/2025, with South Westerly force 6 winds. The second forecast high water is at 07:00 06/12/2025 with a level of 2.54 mAODN with South Westerly force 7 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level). Flooding may occur 2 hours either side of high water.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads and low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded.
