Flood alert

High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible from 5:45 am to 9:45 am on Tuesday 3 February. 
Areas most at risk include West Bay Harbour and the tidal stretch of the River Brit. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at West Bay Harbour of 2.57 mAODN at 7:45 am, with Easterly force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.) 
We are closely monitoring the situation and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. 
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions and avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded. 
This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 03 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
