Flooding expected. Take action now.
The water level in the West Brook at Bridge Road is high and rising rapidly. In the last 5 hours, heavy and intense rain has fallen with 23mm recorded at Havant. From 04:15 this morning (27/11/24) the river will come out of bank, flooding the road and property at Bridge Road. Heavy rain will continue to affect the area over the next 4 hours with another 10-15mm expected. The river will peak and trough throughout this time, but will remain high until 10:00 this morning. Our operational staff are travelling to site now to clear debris screens at Bridge Road. If you have it, please install flood protection now, leaving it in place until tomorrow. Plan driving routes to avoid the A259 at Emsworth. This Flood Warning will be updated by 14:00 on 27/11/24
