Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

High river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening.
Flooding is expected from 8:00 PM on 30/09/2024.
Areas most at risk include properties on Hall Lane, Damfield Lane, Fouracres, Old Racecourse Road, Sefton Lane and Sefton Drive.
Further flooding is expected this evening as river levels are expected to remain high due to heavy rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation, monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
This message will be updated by 10:00 AM on 01/10/2024, or as the situation changes.
