Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain very high but are beginning to fall this morning, Sunday 05/11/2023. The risk of flooding to properties and roads remains for the area around Whitewater Dyke, particularly on and around Magpie Hall Road. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next 48 hours, so we do not expect the situation to deteriorate any further. Our incident response staff are out on the ground checking and clearing any blockages and debris from rivers and are actively monitoring the situation.
Please follow advice from emergency services and contact your insurance company if you've been flooded. This message will be updated by 5pm today, 05/11/23, or as the situation changes.
