River levels have risen rapidly overnight, following recent heavy rainfall within the catchment. Flooding is possible this morning and throughout the day today, Friday 27th September 2024.
Areas most at risk are Hydrus Drive, Phoenix Close, Columba Drive, Willow Bank Walk, Omega Court, Nebular Court, Brookside Walk, Brook Street, Capshill Avenue, Waterdell, Woodman Close, Stepping Stone Place, Linwood Grove, Billington Road and Lindler Court in Leighton Buzzard.
Find out if your community assistance centre is open at www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk.
Further rainfall is forecast this morning, which may keep river levels high. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected.
