Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels at Lisle Street Gauge may rise rapidly due to the reactive nature of the catchment in response to heavy rainfall. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. Areas most at risk are properties at Prince William Way, Prince William Road, Jubilee Drive, Monarch Way, Waldron Court, Belton Road West Extension, Lisle Street and Derby Road near Burleigh Brook. If levels continue to rise, properties at Bottleacre Lane, Belton Road near Bottleacre Lane, Staveley Court, Meadow Avenue, Waterside Close and surrounding areas are at risk.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one and do not walk or drive through flood water.
