This is an archived message. The status has changed more recently.
River levels are now steadily falling, but still remain quite high in some locations. A Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area. The forecast is for no further rainfall for the next 24 hours. There may still be some areas where flood water is present until it can naturally drain away.
Avoid walking or driving through flood water - just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. We will continue to monitor levels closely.
