Storm Dennis has brought 25mm of rain so far, with a further 3mm possible by 06:00 17/02/2020. This is a significant rainfall event. River levels continue to rise and will remain high overnight in to Monday (17/02/2020). Further flooding is possible and property flooding is still expected, as well as water affecting fields, gardens, and roads. Impacts could be similar to Christmas 2019. Locations could include: Barcombe Mills Road and properties in Barcombe Mills, as well as the Anchor Inn. Rain will ease from Monday with only isolated showers through to midweek, river levels should begin to fall by Monday evening 17/02/2020. Please plan to avoid driving through routes vulnerable to flooding. Please install flood protection products in Barcombe, now, if you have them. We are operating our structures in Barcombe to help reduce flood risk. We will update this message by 12:00 17/02/2020
