Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected on 06 February 2026 from 16:00 as lots of rain (23mm) has fallen since Thursday.
The Anchor Inn, fields and gardens are expected to flood. Barcombe Mills road and Anchor Lane are likely to be impassable. Minor flooding impacts could affect properties at Barcombe Mills. River levels and flood risk should initially begin to fall Friday night, but more rain is forecast Saturday evening. More flood impacts could be possible this weekend.
We are closely monitoring the situation and operating our structures at Anchor Gates and Barcombe Mills.
Activate any flood protection products you may have , including at Barcombe Mills. Avoid Barcombe Mills Road and Anchor Lane.
