Flood warning

Levels are rising on the Bishop Monkton Beck due to persistent rainfall.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bishop Monkton Beck, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Beckside properties through Bishop Monkton Village.
Flooding is expected at Beckside properties through Bishop Monkton Village from 07:00 PM on 07/12/2023.
Further rainfall is forecast overnight and over the weekend.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and are checking rivers for blockages in the area.
