The Flood Warning for Bishop Monkton Beck and Bishop Monkton remains in force. River levels have risen on the Bishop Monkton Beck and are expected to remain high overnight. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bishop Monkton Beck, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Beckside properties through Bishop Monkton Village. Further rainfall is forecast overnight on Sunday 22/02/22. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. This message will be updated by 09:00am on 21/02/2022, or as the situation changes.
