River levels are rising today, Friday 09/02/2024, on the Bishop Monkton Beck due to the recent mix of rain and snow. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bishop Monkton Beck, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Beckside properties through Bishop Monkton village. Further rainfall is forecast throughout today and into the weekend. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 2:30 PM on Friday 09/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
