Rising river levels this evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 22 January 2026 and overnight into Friday 23rd.
Areas most at risk include Huntworth Business Park Rhyne, Stockmoor Rhyne, Hamp Brook and Durleigh Brook in Bridgwater, Cannington Brook at Cannington, Combwich Brook at Combwich, and the Stogursey area. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and ensuring debris screens are clear of blockages.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . Please remain aware of local water levels and weather conditions.
