Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides today may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 11:30AM to 1:30PM on 18th April 2026.
Locations most affected will be coastal roads and footpaths along the coast at North Morecambe Bay from Roosebeck to Carnforth including low lying areas around Ulverston, Greenodd, Haverthwaite, Flookburgh, Grange-over-Sands, Levens, Milnthorpe, Sandside, Arnside and Silverdale.
A Flood Alert may be required for Sunday 19/04/2026 lunchtime tide with peak at 13:15.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
