The lunchtime tide today at Portsmouth came in a little lower (8cm) that we thought when we issued the message yesterday. The very early morning tide forecast at 00:30 on 11/02/2020 is elevated, and some large waves are expected. The tide may just be high enough to cause very minor impact flooding to the roads in Wallington and at Town Quay in Fareham. Shortly, we will issue a Flood Alert to describe impacts for this tide. In the early hours of Thursday morning (02:00 on 13/02/2020) tide levels might be similar to those recorded this morning. Further messages may be issued this week.
