High tidal peaks are forecast until Saturday 14/03/20.
Flooding is affecting low lying land adjacent to the Severn Estuary. Potential for floodwater to overtop the tidal defences and affect properties and land at Framilode and Priding.
At Sharpness; a tide level of 10.8m occurred at 9:50am on Thursday 12/03/20.
Predicted peaks:
Sharpness 10.5 to 10.9m at 10:00pm on Thursday 12/03/2020.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
