Severe flooding expected. Take action immediately.

Severe flood warning

A severe flood warning is in force for Framilode and Priding on the Severn Estuary. Severe flooding is expected from Friday morning due to strong winds, high waves and a high tide between 07:30 and 11:30, 17/02/2022. There is danger to life.
You need to take action immediately to implement your emergency flood plan as severe flooding to homes and main roads is expected.
The level at Sharpness gauge is forecast to reach up to 10.8m during the high tide on Friday morning. Levels will remain high for a prolonged period of time due to a tidal surge with very strong winds and large waves.
