Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High groundwater levels may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible . A small amount of rain (13mm) fell on Thursday night.
Groundwater is now very close to the level we expect flooding to affect cellars of a small number of properties in Bishops Sutton and these impacts begin during the next 3 days. Impacts to septic tanks and flooding of roads is possible. Only a small amount of rain is forecast from Friday 13/03/2026 to Tuesday 17/03/2026. Groundwater levels may rise slightly in response to rainfall already recorded and will remain high throughout March 2026.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed .
