Flooding expected. Take action now.
The water level in the Tadburn Lake at Botley Road is high and rising rapidly. Heavy and intense rain has fallen over the last 9 hours with 32mm of rain recorded in Romsey. This is a significant amount in a short period of time. Currently (04/01/2024), surface water could be causing flooding to property at Jenner Way and Sewards Rise. In the next 20 minutes, the river could flood property at Eight Acres, Jennar Way and Sewards Rise. Showery conditions are forecast until the early hours of Friday morning (05/01/2024). The river will rise until approximately 23:00. Our operations staff are checking to make sure that the river is free from blockages. If you have it, please install flood protection now and ensure any pumps used to lower water levels are working. This Flood Warning will be updated by 15:00 on Friday 05/01/2024.
