Monks Brook

Warning no longer in force

The water level in the Monks Brook is now falling, and the immediate risk of flooding has receded. Only small amounts of rainfall is forecast Saturday afternoon and Sunday. This should allow the river to fall significantly. More unsettled weather, and further rainfall is possible on Monday (04/03/2024). If this rain occurs in the area of the Monks Brook and flood risk is again possible, then we will issue further advice. We will continue to monitor the river and forecast. Residents should remain vigilant, especially in Chandlers Ford, where culverts and debris screens in the river can block quickly. Please report blockages to our incident hotline on 0800 80 70 60.
