Flood warning

High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday.
Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 from 10:30, as a lot of rain fell in Storm Chandra (37mm).
Flooding will affect land, roads, gardens, and approach properties at Jenner Way, Sewards Rise, and at Eight Acres. Showers are forecast to continue today, but the worst of the rain should have cleared. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by 14:00 27/01/2026.
We are checking flood defences to make sure that the defence wall remains undamaged.
Activate any flood protection products you may have . Ensure pumps used to lower water levels are working.
This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 27 January 2026 or as the situation changes.
